i’ve been taking mucos wobenzym N by douglas labs for about a year as part of a natural protocol for cardiac issues. i have had dramatic results and have been able to avoid surgery. i’m wondering if there is a difference between the garden of life wobenzym N and the douglas lab. the price difference is significant and i’m wondering why.

I have been taking mucos wobenzym n for several years now for my chronic pain in my neck and back caused by disc and pinched nerve problems. Before taking this, I couldn’t even pick up a piece of tissue. This was a lifesaver for me. Until, of course, I ordered another bottle from another website and got the Garden of Life stuff. Well, I am suffering again, bigtime. I thought I was getting the mucos brand from Physicians Formula website, but got the Garden of Life instead. I even called them and they assured me it was the same. And yes, the price difference was substantial. Well, I guess I got what I paid for. I read somewhere on a website that the Garden of Life is lacking some ingredients but the supplement facts on back of both kinds seems to be the same. Well, take my word for it, stay away from Garden of Life.

I’m concerned about the accuracy of some of the comments here. As far as I know, Garden of Life only distributes Wobenzym N that is made in Germany by Mucos. And that Garden of Life does not manufacture Wobenzym N. I believe if you look closely at a bottle’s label that looks like the picture at the top of this web page it will indicate that Wobenzym N is the distributor, not the manufacturer, and will list Mucos also. Mucos is in Germany and is the manufacturer.
Yeah, Physicians Formula screwed me too. They quickly changed the site and added ‘Garden of Life” to the listing, very sneaky. Very unhelpful and offered no recourse. Enormous shipping time too. Total loser for me. Going elsewhere for certain.

I just started taking Wobenzym N 4 days ago and its a blessing in disguise. I suffer from chronic neck, arm, shoulder pain from thoracic outlet syndrome in addition I have fibromyalgia. I was on torodol and gabapetin. The torodol caused my stomache to bleed so I discontinued using any anti inflammatory and was suffering until my chiropractor introduced me to Wobenzym N. I will pop back in in a few months to give a progress up date. thx

I was diagnosed with RA, I am 41 and also a bulging disc, pinch nerve. Numbness and tingling on right side always. It has been for 6 months. My brother is a Ciropractic told me ice, ice ,ice and ginney pigged me into this product. I tried the Wobenzyne PM for a month, was ok, then he put me on Wobenzyne N !!!!! Don’t know if it was product but, two weeks into taking pain, numbness, tingling gone. I will stay on it. Has so many other benifits.

I agree, one important thing is not to order the Garden of Life Wobenzym’N as it does not have the original enzymes that the mucus Wobenzym’N has.. as you read most of the information you will learn more about the product.
My husbands ankles were so swollen from a problem he picked up from the hospital that lasted for months and the doctors put him on two medications that did not help him in the least… after one week on Wobenzym his ankles went down to almost normal. I took him off the other meds that were a waste.
My other son-in-law has Gout. He hasn’t had one attack for the last 6 months since he has been on Wobenzym.
My other son-in-law has Pancreatic cancer and these enzymes help him digest food that he normally couldn’t because of the removal of so much of his internal digestive system. Does nobody find the odor offensive? I guess the results outweigh the smell.
Don;t eat for at lest 2 hrs before and 45 min after taking Wobenzyme. IF you do your poots will be stinky and you will have gastric issues. If you use is properly this will not occur. Read the directions and follow them. I am taking the Garden of life stuff with no issues.
Also if you are allergic to pineapple, carrots, wheat or a few other things( look it up) you will have issues with wobenzyme.
What is a website to order from that you know it’s the Douglas Lab/Mucos actual brand. I ask because the Garden of Life website makes it look the same. The Douglas Lab website doesn’t have a link to buy.

I had been suffering from constipation and gastrointestinal issues for almost a year. After many tests, my family doctor was unable to find the cause and suggested laxatives. Not good! I brought Wobenzyme from amazon.com. It said MUCOS in the description, but I got Garden of Life on the bottle. Where can I find the difference? Your help is greatly appreciated.
Mucos Pharma no longer produces Wobenzym N (it has been discontinued since 2009) but Wobenzym PS which has a different composition. I am using now Astrozym from Capella Pharma which has almost the same composition of Wobenzym N
I’m still buying Wobenzym N without problem, so don’t understand this comment about it no longer being available. As it has been for a long time, Garden of Life distributes the product which is made in Germany by Mucos.

It says that Wobenzym N has been discontinued in Germany and the import of the product is forbidden. I am now using Astrozym which is near identical.
I have no idea whether Garden of Life Wobenzyn N is genuine or not, namely produced by Mucos Pharma. What I know is that Wobnezym N is no longer manufactured in Germany.
Genuine Wobenzym N from MUCOS is still available here and there…about $50 more for the genuine article. My current bottle has an expiration of 7/2014. The Garden of Life bottle says NOTHING about being manufactured by MUCOS only that the name is a registered trademark of “Mucos Emulsions” does not indicate who manufactured it. I had an elbow joint that I couldn’t even pick up a bag or try to bowl with (started going lefty). The doctor shrugged, I started taking genuine Wobenzyme. Hmmm. Pain has been gone for years now, absolutely good as new (54 years old). My knees were giving me some trouble…gone with this product. Not a pain in my old body. With the GOL brand I noticed pains creeping back in…some I had forgotten about. Maybe I just need to take more of the new version, not quite sure, but disappointed. BTW the genuine MUCOS formula number is different then the GOL as printed on the bottle. Not sure what is going on here…someones making more money on us I’d bet.

I have a bulging disc in my neck which pinches off a nerve and causes me to have face pain just like trigeminal neuralgia. my chiropractor sold me a bottle of Wobenzym N, but after reading some reviews on it I’m afraid to take it! I have anxiety issues and from what I’ve read it can make them worse. I’m thinking I wasted $66!
